Muslim Influencer: Hayma (@lifebyhayma) & her Miracles of Islam

Social media is full of influencers, but few capture the beauty of Islam quite like Hayma (@lifebyhayma).

Her “Miracles of Islam” series has mesmerized audiences, providing evidence to support Islam and making complex Islamic concepts accessible and inspiring.

Whether you’re a born Muslim or a revert yourself, her content will leave you in awe of the signs of Allah in the Quran and everyday life.

This post is part of the ‘Muslims to Follow‘ series for Ramadan 2025.

Who is Hayma?

Hayma, known as @lifebyhayma on Instagram, is a revert to Islam who uses her platform to share her journey, insights, and the wonders of Islam. With a warm and engaging style, she brings a fresh perspective that resonates with both new and lifelong Muslims alike.

Hailing from the north of England, given away by her accent, Hayma produces fresh and inspiring content – she knows how to keep audiences engaged!

Hayma’s view on Nasheeds

In a recent post, Hayma discussed a topic that lies at the heart of this website – Nasheeds.

She’s grown tired of the usual soft “ahhs” and is searching for something more upbeat – a sentiment I, the creator of Islamic Music Hub, completely share.

So, in response to Hayma, we present a selection of lively and refreshing Nasheeds, each reviewed on this site:

Qalbi Fil Madinah by Maher Zain and Harris J – Released days ago at the time of writing and already ranks top.

Salam Alaikum by Harris J – Maybe more for kids, but this is one popular song

Dear Past by Muad – Vocal only music that sounds as good as instrumental songs. His entire album is amazing. I particularly recommend ‘Falling’.

Salam by Muad – Such an upbeat song, i’m surprised it isn’t more popular.

Back to You by Siedd – Massive song. I had the chance to interview him about it. See the review.

Of course, there are so many other great artists to look into – Safe Adam, Khaled Siddiq, Raef & more.

Hayma’s Miracles of Islam

One of Hayma’s most popular series is her “Miracles of Islam,” where she shares incredible signs of Allah’s existence found in science, nature, and history. Below are some of her standout posts:

Quran on Solar and Luna Years

So, the Quran adds 9 years, possibly to account for the difference between solar and luna years.

But, does the maths add up?

Let’s ask Chat GPT:

It seems so! Allah accurately adds 9 years to take into account the difference between solar and lunar years.

Prostrating on Chins

It’s incredible to consider how these discoveries were accurately foretold in the Quran.

Some might argue that it’s not a miracle because the verse doesn’t directly mention Egyptians. However, when we look at how the Quran aligns with science and history time and time again, the evidence gradually builds up, coming close to undeniable proof.

Jesus (PBUH) & Birds of Clay

Did you know – the only verse in the Bible that mentions Trinity was taken out, as they discovered it was actually a footnote that made its way into the main text over time – which the hand-copying of copies of the Bible.

Trinity is however found in the Quran – where it addresses the Christians and instructs them not to say it

And do not say, “Three”; desist – it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son… (4:171)

Frequency of words In Quran

Fun fact: Well known Muslim speaker Nouman Ali Khan talks about these mathematic miracles and how he has personally sat down and verified some of them.

Origins of the Universe

This one is difficult to refute, we know that the universe is expanding and therefore if we go back in time everything would have been connected at a single point. We understand the concept of ‘big bang’ from science.

What is even more interesting is that the word used for ‘unstitched’ or ‘separated’ in Arabic means to separate with force, i.e. tearing fabric apart – this is inline with the big bang theory we understand today.

Furthermore, this verse speaks about every living thing being made from water – two miracles in one!
