Talk Islam Meaning Of Life

Meaning Of Life By Talk Islam – Proof That The Quran Was Not Man-Made

Talk Islam: The Meaning Of Life | Get the App

I’ve always wanted to create a short video summarizing Islam.

Something that shows evidence for Islam, leaving viewers stunned and keen to learn more.

However that is no longer an aim of mine…

Why?

Because Talk Islam have produced something far superior than I could have ever achieved. Their poem, ‘The Meaning Of Life’, provides a 7 minute summary of the religion and gives proof for Islam.

It’s had over 3 million Youtube views and many are claiming that people have converted to Islam as a result. While we cannot verify this, it’s certainly possible – it is that good!

What makes this poem so fantastic?

Here are a few reasons:

  • Relatable to everyone
  • Rational arguments
  • Word genius
  • Well-produced video

Relatable To Everyone

The poem starts with a common question:

“What are we doing here?”

It’s a question that every person in every country of the world is likely to have asked at one point in their lives. Nobody knows how we got here for sure, however there are two main theories:

  • God created us
  • We evolved from simple forms of life

The video favours the former, and provides evidence to back the claim.

The video features clips from movies such as ‘The Truman Show’ and music videos by Drake and Limp Bizkit are shown. By creating such a relatable product, it’s no surprise this poem has done well.

Not only are Muslims sharing it all over the web, but many non-Muslims are creating their own reaction videos too.

Rational Arguments

Logic and rational thinking are of high importance when presenting a view point.

Talk Islam use logical arguments in their poem, and back their comments with Quran and science.

There are many scientific signs in the Quran including verses related to embryology, space, sea, bees, ants, anatomy and more.

The poem only touches upon a few of these. For examples it includes comments by professor of embryology Dr Keith Moore, who states that the embryological verses in the Quran cannot be based on scientific knowledge in the 7th century.

We will go into more detail about the scientific miracles of the Quran in the ‘Lyrics Analysis’ section later in this review.

Word Genius

Some argue art should not be restricted to paintings – I agree.

Not only does the poet use a consistent rhyming technique, but conveys deep meaning at the same time. Furthermore the words are beautifully combined with video and images.

Well-Produced Video

You could listen to an audio-only version of this poem, but would only get half the picture.

Most of this video is formed as a montage of clips from various sources. Each clip has been carefully selected to link with the content of the poem.

The video takes the viewer on a journey:

  1. We see a man appear from nothing
  2. He enters the glamorised pop-culture form of the world
  3. We’re then shown a grave reminding of death
  4. And explore an option as to how and why we were put on this earth

Meaning Of Life Lyrics

The lyrics to this poem have been presented below. Key lines have been numbered (in purple) and discussed below.

What Are We Doing Here, And Where Are We Gonna Go – 1
It’s like we Just Woke Up One Morning, And Then It’s Welcome To The Show
Don’t Ask Any Questions Just Go With The Flow – 2
Make As Much Money As You Can, And Try Your Best Not To Get Broke – 3
Copy Everything You See On A T. V., From A Hairstyles To The Clothes – 4
And don’t Think To Often, Just Do Exactly As You’re Told
And If You Ever Get Confused, Then Just Turn Towards The Alcohol – 5
You Still Here Thoughts? Then Just Turn Up The Radi-o
As You Learn To Live A Lifestyle Of Drugs, sex, And Rock-n-roll

But In All Honesty, I Just Need To Know
Is There More To The Cycle Than Growing And Getting Old
Living And Dying Just To Leave Behind A Happy Home
And A Whole Lot of Property That Somebody Else Is Gonna Own – 6
I Just Really Need To Know Before The Caste Gets Closed
Because I’m Not Willing To Gamble With My Soul, Nor Am I Ready To Take Any Chances
These Are Just Simple Life Questions And Im Just Searching For Some Answers
Like What Are We Doing Here? What Is Our Purpose?
How Did We Get Here And Who Made Us So Perfect? – 7
Or What Happens Once We Go, For Is This World Really Worth It?
Questions We don’t Answer, B’coz Apparently We don’t Really Have To
There’s No Purpose To This Life And Our Existence Its Merely Natural – 8

Then In That Case Please Let Me Ask You
Did You Create Yourself? Or Was It Somebody Else Who Had Fashioned You?
Coz You’re A Being That’s Impecable, For Less Than Unparalleled
You’re A Product Of Supreme Intelligence, And Are Merely Being rational
For There isn’t A Camera On This Earth That Has Come Close To The Human Eye – 9
Nor A Computer That Can Compete Alongside A Human Mind – 10
And If The Whole World Was To Come Together, We Wouldn’t Be Able To Create A Single Fly – 11
So Many Signs Yet We Still Deny

Science Tries To Justify That All This Could Come From None
When It’s A Simple Sum, Zero Plus Zero Plus Zero Cannot Possibly Ever Give You One
So From Where Did All This Order Come?
For Everything Has It’s Origins, A Maker, A Creator Of Its Own
I Mean The Only Reason You’re Watching This Video Because Somebody Had To Press Upload
So We Can Believe In The Big Bang But I Would Rather Believe In He Who Caused It To Explode – 12
Allah! The Creator Of Everything Along With Every Single Soul – 13
The Ever Living, The Master, The Only One Who Is In Control
Unlike His Creation Beyond Our Imagination – 14
And No! He’s Not A Man Nor Does He Has Any Partners In Association, He’s On His Own
And No He Did Not Ever Leave Us Alone
Just Like Every Manufacturer, He Left Us With An Instruction Manual
The Qur’aan And Islam And M Sorry To Jump To Conclusion But Its The Only One Possible

The Only Definition Of God Is The One And Only, Supreme Being. It’s Logical!
A Book With Zero Contradictions, With Miracles That Are Both Scientific And Historical – 15
All Revealed Over 1400 Years Ago
Like The Detailed Description Of The Human Embryo – 16
“the Descriptions Of The Human Embryo In The Quran Cannot Be Based On Scientific Knowledge In The 7th Century” – (a Scientist In The Video)
To The Mountains As Pegs Holding Firm The Earth Below – 17
And The Two Seas That don’t Mix In A Complete Separate Flow – 18
To The Planets In Orbit, Alternating Night And Day As They Stay In Flow – 19
The Expansion Of The Universe And The Creation Of Everything From H2o – 20
To The Stories Of The Past And The Preservation Of Pharaoh – 21
To Identifying The Lowest Point In Land Where The Persia Defeated Rome – 22
The Gushing Fluid That Created Man In The Glands Between Ribs And The Backbone – 23

And Not A Word Has Changed, Its Still The Same. So Please Explain How All This Was Known?
Over 1400 Years Ago, To A Man Who Couldn’t Read Or Write, As He Would Recite Whatever The Angels Spoke
And If You Still don’t Believe, Please Try To Come Up With Something That’s Even Close
But You Can’t. So We Took God As A Mockery And His Messenger As A Joke
Dismiss These Scriptures And Legends And The Tails Of The Ancient Folk, As We Live Life According To Our Whims, Desires And Hopes
Saying This Life Is The Only Home We Would Ever Know. We Will Live And Die And Simply Turn To Bones
Yo-lo. Correction. After The Grass Dies, The Rain Arrives And It Re-grows – 24
And Allah Promises To Do This Same Thing To Your Very Soul – 25
And Bring You Back From Your Very Fingertips To Your Toes
As The All-seeing Supreme Being Watches Us So Close. And We Are Surely Being Tested
In Our Wealth, Our Health, In Our Self And Everything That We’ve Been Blessed With – 26
So Believe For We Will Surely Be Ressurected And Be Brought Back To Our Lord
And Account For Every Single Deed As He Hands Us Our Books (of Our Deeds In This World) And Orders Us To Read
From The Bad To The Good And Everything In Between
You Yourself Was Sufficient For Your Own Accountability
So don’t Be Mad At Me, You Were The One Who Thought Who Wouldn’t Come Back To Me
I Gave You A Whole Life Long To Search After Me, But You Were Busy In All That Which Was Temporary
So Read! And Glad Tidings To All Those Who Believe. Then If You Disbelive, Read!
And don’t Let That Day Be The First Day You Find Out What Your Life Really Means. Read! – 27

Links to Quran & Hadith

Links to the Quran and hadith have been numbered above (in purple) and presented below.

1 Why are we on this earth?

What Are We Doing Here, And Where Are We Gonna Go

Questions like this can be difficult to answer no matter what creed or view point you follow. Each answer will always be followed up with one question: “but why”?

Study of the Quran can help us to answer the following:

  • Reasons why we are NOT here
  • Reasons why we are here
  • Where we are going next

Why are we NOT here?

“Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?” (Quran 3:115)

“And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play (Quran 44:38)

We were not created for fun or as a pass-time, and therefore should not waste time on meaningless tasks. Allah has created us for a purpose.

Why are we here?

“Who has created death and life that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the AllMighty, the OftForgiving” (Quran 67:2)

Allah mentions that we have been put on this earth as a test, to see which of us do the good deeds. We have been given free-will and therefore (unlike Angels) have the ability to choose between good or bad.

We can choose to help someone cross the road, or walk the opposite way. We can choose whether we want to attend a charity event, or sit at home playing Playstation. We even have the ability to choose whether we forgive people for wrong actions or hold a grudge.

Free-will gives us choice, although Allah knows the outcome.

One might still ask why Allah made us for this purpose…

Why has Allah put us on this earth if he already knows the outcome? Why are we created without being asked?

Zakir Naik attempts an answer to these challenging questions in the video below:

Why God created us and he knows that the majority will enter the Hell

2 Question Everything

Don’t Ask Any Questions Just Go With The Flow

The Quran was sent down to those who reflect. Asking questions is part of being Muslim and we should never follow people blindly.

“And it is He Who spread out the earth, and placed therein firm mountains and rivers and of every kind of fruits He made Zawjain Ithnain (two in pairs – may mean two kinds or it may mean: of two sorts, e.g. black and white, sweet and sour, small and big, etc.) He brings the night as a cover over the day. Verily, in these things, there are Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) for people who reflect.” (Quran 10:24)

“…Then do they not give thought? There is in their companion [Muhammad] no madness. He is not but a clear warner.” (Quran 7:184)

3 Money Isn’t Everything

Make As Much Money As You Can, And Try Your Best Not To Get Broke

Money, Money, Money…

Most people live to make more money, but what does Islam say about the idea of chasing money?

The Quran speaks about money and other treasures in a negative light as being enjoyments of the worldly life.

While it’s absolutely fine to make money, it should not be the reason for our existence. Those who prefer the worldly life over the next are considered unsuccessful – which is funny as most people would define success in monetary terms.

“Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire – of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return.” (Quran 3:14)

4 Only Copy If It’s Good

Copy Everything You See On The TV, From The Hairstyles To The Clothes

Following on from point 2, we are required to think before we act. We should not simply copy everything we see in order to ‘Fit In’.

This idea of fitting in is actually more common in collectivist societies in the Eastern world (Pakistan, China, Bangladesh). People in the west are more likely to attempt to stand out from a crowd. That may be a good thing… depending on the crowd.

“And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying”. (Quran 6:116)

The prophet taught that people will copy those before them, and it should be avoided:

“It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: You will certainly follow the ways of those who came before you hand span by hand span, cubit by cubit, to the extent that if they entered the hole of a lizard, you will enter it too.” We said: “O Messenger of Allaah, (do you mean) the Jews and the Christians?” He said: “Who else?”” (al-Bukhaari, 1397; Muslim, 4822)

5 The Danger Of Alcohol

And If You Ever Get Confused, Then Just Turn Towards The Alcohol

Alcohol is forbidden in Islam – that’s no secret.

But did you know the Arabs used to be heavy drinkers? Allah did not ban Alcohol in one go, he took a step by step approach.

The first verse was revealed  in order to reduce Alcohol intake:

“O you who believe! do not go near prayer when you are Intoxicated until you know (well) what you say” (Quran 4:43)

Another verse was then revealed prohibiting Alcohol altogether:

“O you who believe! intoxicants and games of chance and (sacrificing to) stones set up and (dividing by)arrows are only an uncleanness, the Shaitan’s work; shun it therefore that you may be successful. The Shaitan only desires to cause enmity and hatred to spring in your midst by means of intoxicants and games of chance, and to keep you off from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. Will you then desist?” (Quran 5:90-91)

It was said that the streets of Medina were flowing with rivers of wine after the above verse.

“Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, addressing the people in Medina, saying, “O people, Allah is alluding to a command for wine. Perhaps Allah will soon reveal an order regarding it. So whoever has some of it should sell it and benefit from it.” We waited for some time until the Prophet said, “Verily, Allah the Exalted has forbidden wine. Whoever knows this verse and has some of it should neither drink it nor sell it.” The people then brought whatever they had with them into the streets of Medina and poured it out.” (Muslim 1578)

6 Buying A Property

And A Whole Lot of Property That Somebody Else Is Gonna Own

Buying a house is a huge life ambition for many people in the world, Muslim and non-Muslim.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to own a property, it makes sense. However many people feel it is impossible to buy without getting a mortgage and engaging in interest.

Everything is allowed in Islam, unless it has been specifically forbidden in the literature. Though it may not feel like it, there are actually very few major sins in the religion of Islam. Many scholars argue that there are 7 major sins, while some extend to 70.

Interest is classed as one of the major sins, if a person commits this they are strong candidates for the hell fire. Of course it is possible to repent, as long as the sin is abandoned and not returned to.

Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, “Trade is [just] like interest.” But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah . But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] – those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.” (Quran 2:275)

7 We’re Too Perfect

How Did We Get Here And Who Made Us So Perfect?

Some argue that the design and order of our world is too perfect not to have a creator. Even the process of natural selection must have had a beginning.

The video gives some good visual examples of how we have been created with detailed design and measure.

“…[It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do.” (Quran 27:88)

“If there were other gods in either [Heaven or Earth] besides God [Alone], they would both dissolve in chaos. Glory be to God, Lord of the Throne, beyond what they describe!” (Quran 21:22)

8 Can We Really Come From Nothing?

There’s No Purpose To This Life And Our Existence Its Merely Natural

If the universe had a beginning, there must have been a cause. That cause must have been from outside of the laws of physics and time, otherwise that thing would require a cause too. Religious people call this cause ‘God’ or in our case ‘Allah’.

Another theory is that the universe has always existed. However we run into a flaw with this theory known as infinite regression. If there was never a start, how can there be a present?

Let’s say I wanted to throw a ball, however before throwing I needed permission from person 1.

  1. Person 1 needs to check with person 2
  2. Person 2 needs to check with person 3
  3. Person 3 needs to check with person 4
  4. And so on

If this went on forever, will I ever throw the ball?

In the same way the universe cannot come into existence with this theory.

A great speak on this topic is Hamza Tzortzis:

Could The Universe be created by something created? Hamza Tzortzis

9 Sight Is A Gift

For There isn’t A Camera On This Earth That Can Come Close To The Human Eye

Sight is a gift to us, as Allah mentions in various places of the Quran.

“Indeed, We had established them in a way We have not established you ˹Meccans˺. And We gave them hearing, sight, and intellect. But neither their hearing, sight, nor intellect were of any benefit to them whatsoever, since they persisted in denying Allah’s signs. And ˹so˺ they were overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule.” (Quran 46:26)

10 The Forelock Miracle

Nor A Computer That Can Compete Alongside A Human Mind

This poem gives many signs that the Quran is from God. Here is another:

The part of the human mind that is responsible for decision is known as the forelock, this is located in the front part of the head.

Allah speaks about those who lie and says that he will grab them by their forelock, and also describes the forelock as lying and sinful. It is interesting that Allah described the forelock as lying rather than the person. This may not have been understood at the time, however today we are aware due to modern advances in Science.

““Nay! If he (Abu Jahl) ceases not, We will catch him by the forelock, A lying, sinful forelock!”” (Quran 96:15-16)

11 The Fly Miracle

And If The Whole World Was To Come Together, We Wouldn’t Be Able To Create A Single Fly

One Hadith talks about flies.

“The Prophet said “If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink),  for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease (Bukhari)

If a fly lands in our drink the prophet encouraged us to dip it fully before removing it.

What is meant by the above?

Science has found that the wing of a fly contains antibodies (Kingsley, 2002). Flies also contain harmful bacteria. By dipping both wings into the drink the prophet has recommended a solution that ensures the anti-bodies are mixed into the drink, increases the chances that it would be safe to drink.

In modern times many would throw away the drink, however we should remember that water was not as easily obtainable back then.

12 The Big Bang Theory

So We Can Believe In The Big Bang But I Would Rather Believe In He Who Caused It To Explode

“Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (Quran 21:30)

In this verse the Quran states that the heavens and earth were joined together. Heavens (Sama in Arabic) covers everything we can see when we look into the sky i.e. stars, sun, moon etc.

Science teaches that everything in the universe was once joined together.

How do they know this?

The universe is expanding as we travel through time. Therefore is we were to go back in time, we would find everything in the universe drawing closer together. Eventually there will come a time where everything connects at a single point.

The fact that the Quran mentioned the joined universe should help provide evidence that the Quran is really from Allah.

If that wasn’t enough. Here is another verse on the topic:

“And the heaven We created with might, and indeed We are (its) expander. (Quran 51:47)

13 He Created Everything

Allah! The Creator Of Everything Along With Every Single Soul

He created everything and mentioned it in various scriptures, including the Quran.

“That is Allah your Lord! There is no god but He! The Creator of all things: then worship ye Him: and He hath power to dispose of all affairs”. (Quran 6:102)

14 We Cannot Imagine Allah

Unlike His Creation Beyond Our Imagination

This is an important point.

Allah describes himself as being like nothing in this world today.

Think about it like this. If you wanted to imagine what Allah looks like, whatever you come up with is NOT anywhere near. We are incapable of this task due to the limitations given to humans.

Those who do good  may be allowed to see Allah in Paradise, let’s all hope we make it.

“Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent. (Quran 6:102)

15 Quranic Miracles

A Book With Zero Contradictions, With Miracles That Are Both Scientific And Historical

There are many Scientific miracles in Islam, the poem just covers some of them.

One miracle not covered includes the language of the Quran.

Language of Quran

There are signs in the way Allah revealed the Quran and it’s language. When the Quran was revealed, the Arabs were proud of their language, many people became Muslim due to the poetry of the Quran alone.

Examples of linguistic miracles include palindromes – paragraphs that mean the same when read forwards and backwards. One example is the following sentence

رب ب ك ف ك ب ب ر (Quran 74:3)

Another example is seen in the meaning of Ayat-ul-kursi, with the middle line having two meanings:

kursi forwards backwards

In fact the Quran challenges people to create one word, line or chapter like it.

“Say: “If the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another.” (Quran 17:88)

16 Embryology in the Quran

Like The Detailed Description Of The Human Embryo

Keith Moore (professor of Embryology) was shown the following verses of the Quran by his students:

“We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)…” (Quran 23:12-14).

He was amazed at how accurately the Quran described the embryo process. Upon further examination under a microscope he found that the Quranic description was more accurate than the way they were describing it.

His full speech can be seen here:

Embryology in the Qur'an lecture by Dr. Keith L. Moore (University of Illinois, 1990)

17 The Mountain Miracle

To The Mountains As Pegs Holding Firm The Earth Below

The roots of the mountains beneath the earth’s surface are deeper than the height above the Earth.

“And the mountains as pegs?” (Quran 78:7)

Mountain pegs quran

18 The Two Seas Miracle

And The Two Seas That don’t Mix In A Complete Separate Flow

Scientific signs of Islam

Allah speaks about the two seas not mixing.

Science has now found that in places where two seas meet, there is a barrier between them. Each sea has it’s own temperature, salinity, and density. (Principles of Oceanography, Davis, pp. 92-93). This fact could not have been known at the time of the Quran.

“He has set free the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress.” (Quran 55:19-20)

19 Orbits

To The Planets In Orbit, Alternating Night And Day As They Stay In Flow

“And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming.” (Quran 31:21)

The above verse states that the sun and moon are in orbit.

The beautiful thing about this verse is that it has a multi-layered meaning.

To a 7th century Arab this verse might mean that the sun and moon orbit around the earth (as was the old understanding) and this causes them to reflect on the greatness of Allah

To a 21st century person this verse can be viewed as talking about the sun and moon being in orbit within the galaxy. Science has confirmed that the moon is in orbit around the Earth, and the sun is in a wider orbit around the galaxy. In fact it takes the sun 250 million years to complete one orbit (more).

The arabic word used to refer to movement in the above verse is ‘yasbahuna’, which means to move with it’s own motion. If the movement was in water then ‘yasbahuna’ refers to kicking legs (swimming), if on land then it refers to the movement of running or walking. In space this could refer to the movement made by the floating body itself, i.e. rotation.

Both the sun and moon rotate on their own axis. It takes the sun 25 days while the moon takes approx 27. The moon rotation is synchronous with the earth and therefore we always see the same side.

20 Two Miracles In One Verse (Space & Water)

The Expansion Of The Universe And The Creation Of Everything From H2o

We have already discussed the following verse:

“Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (Quran 21:30)

However we only discussed the miracle related to space, this verse also contains another!

Allah states that he created every living thing from water.

Science has now discovered that the cytoplasm (majority of a cell) is about 80% water (Shepherd, 2006), and therefore living things are mostly made from water. Furthermore all living things require water in order to survive.

21 Preservation Of Pharaoh

To The Stories Of The Past And The Preservation Of Pharaoh

The Quran reveals a number of events, before they actually happen. One example is the preservation of Pharaoh, the Egyptian king who was drowned after chasing Moses through the sea.

A mummified body was discovered in Egypt and given to Christian scientist Maurice Bucaille.

After examination he found that the person had died as a result of drowning, and that this could be the same Pharaoh as the one in the Quran and Bible. Read More

While in the process of drowning, Pharaoh called out saying that he believed in the God of Moses, however his repentance was not accepted as he was in his final moments on earth.

And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, “I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims.

Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters?

This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!” (Quran 10:92)

Dr Maurice Bucaille went on to write the book The Bible, the Qu’ran and Science

22 Lowest Point In The Land

To Identifying The Lowest Point In Land Where The Persia Defeated Rome

The lowest point in the land is known as the Dead Sea Depression, which lies between moden day Isreal, Jordan and Syria (Lynch).

“The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land, but after their defeat they will soon be victorious. Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after, is with God.” (Quran 30:2-4)

The battles took place in areas such as Damascus and Jerusalem, which lay in the dead sea depression discussed above.

Furthermore this verse describes the result of an event in a different location to where it was revealed. Back then there was no TV or radio, the only way to deliver messages was to physically make the journey, which could take months or years.

In addition to this, the Quran predicted when the defeated would be victorious (in 3-9 years). This was a surprising statement as the Romans had been defeated so brutally that nobody expected them to recover. Sure enough they were victorious 7 years later.

23 Between The Ribs And Backbone

The Gushing Fluid That Created Man In The Glands Between Ribs And The Backbone

It’s easy to think of semen as coming from the testicles, however Allah states that the gushing fluid comes from a place between the ribs and backbone.

“(Man is) created from gushing water (which) comes out from between the backbone and the ribs (Quran 86:6-7)

Science has now discovered that the fluid is created near the prostate. It is issued from the lumbar and sacral segments of the spinal cord, between the ribs and backbone (Kader, 2010)

24 Reasons For Seasons

Yo-lo. Correction. After The Grass Dies, The Rain Arrives And It Re-grows

Ever wonder why plants die only to re-grow? Why do trees loose their leaves in winter only to start gaining them back in spring?

There is great meaning behind this.

“And GOD sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless: in this, behold, there is a message indeed for people who [are willing to] listen.” (Quran 16:65)

The resurrection of dead land is to remind us that Allah can and does put life back into what appears dead. If Allah can put life back into plants then he can do the same to us.

25 He will bring you back

And Allah Promises To Do This Same Thing To Your Very Soul

There are many verses where Allah states he will resurrect us on the day of judgement.

“How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.” (Quran 2:28)

26 This Life Is A Test

In Our Wealth, Our Health, In Our Self And Everything That We’ve Been Blessed With

The purpose of our existence is to try to pass this test (known as life). Those who say they believe will be tested in multiple ways.

Will you loose hope and abandon Islam? or continue to strive through the hardships?

“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient. Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return.”Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided. [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving” (Quran 67:2)

27 He will bring you back

And don’t Let That Day Be The First Day You Find Out What Your Life Really Means. Read!

There will be happy people on the day of judgement, and many not so happy.

Allah states that the disbelievers will be in such a state of panic that they will wish they were dust.

“Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, “Oh, I wish that I were dust!” (Quran 78:40)

Final Thoughts

The best poem, video and lyrics I have ever come across.

Talk Islam have created something so wonderful that I cannot see anything topping it in the near future.

The message is powerful, emotional and full of logic.

Whether you were born Muslim or not, DO NOT let the day of judgement be the first day you come to realise the true nature of this life. There is too much evidence for a creator. We should obey his command.

We all have different views on how the world should be. These views are influenced by social, historical, economic and political situations in our individual lives.

But who should decide what is right or wrong? A random person? or the one who created all?
