Shahd Safi is one of the few Gazans who was given permission to travel to Spain as a student. She had just got back to Gaza a few months before October 7th. On the day of Oct 7th she thought Gaza was being attacked, as this is what happened many times previously. However, she was shocked to learn that this time it was a Palestinian attack out of Gaza.
